Cute and Nerdy ft. The Greeting Farm

This is one of the first sets of stamps I bought from The Greeting Farm, and I'm so glad that I managed to snatch it before it got discontinued. Today I'm just creating a CAS cards; I colored the image with Copic Sketch markers and paired it up with this clever and cute sentiment.

My little nephew is going to elementary school!! We are so proud of him and I thought this cool little bear is the perfect image for his card. I decided to go with a slightly more masculine color combo:

My first card is a simple one layer card featuring the In Bloom: Perfect Petunias set. I colored the image with Copic markers and paired it up with a sentiment from Fond Expressions 2. When It Rains, Look For Rainbows ft. Craftin Desert Divas

Good morning! I'd like to share one of my favorite quotes with you today. It's: "When it rains, look for rainbows. When it's dark, look for stars." I decided to hand letter this quote with a white gel pen and use it as the sentiment for today's card.

The digital image I used is Rainy Day Girl from Craftin Desert Divas. I colored her with Copics in rainbow colors so it matches the sentiment. Then I colored a piece of glitter tape with B32, B34, B37 and cut 3 raindrop shapes from it. I adhered all of the elements on a strip of patterned paper and that finishes off the card. It's fairly simple with the black and white and a little burst of rainbow colors scheme. I hope you enjoyed it and thanks so much for stopping by!

Just For You ft. Craftin Desert Divas

Spring Bunny ft. Craftin Desert Divas

Hello and welcome!! I have a super spring-y card to share with you today. It was heavily inspired by the pink and floral mood board from Craftin Desert Diva's April challenge mood board. (Shown below) 

When I first saw the Bunny Painting Easter Egg digi, I thought it would be really fun if there was a easel with canvas digi so he could paint anything. Then several weeks later CDD released the Coffee Shop digi stamp and voila! Here's my card. The spring flowers he's painting are from Butterfly Garden.

It's been a long, long time since I've used patterned and specialty paper on my cards. I decided it's time to break out my collections and put them into good use. I colored all of the images with Copics and finished the card with 3 white enamel accents. Hope you enjoyed it and have a wonderful day!

Brew-tiful Day ft. Craftin Desert Divas

Good morning!! Are you still feeling a little sleepy? Then this coffee shaker card is the perfect one for you! I received a bag of coffee beans a long time ago and it's been sitting in my kitchen for the longest time because I don't drink coffee... So I thought I'd use them in my card today. :P 

I created the window frame with some burlap paper and watercolored the background with ZIG markers. Then I colored the stovetop coffee maker image with Copics. The sentiment is handwritten and I can't help but create another punny one. I hope you enjoyed it and thanks so much for stopping by!

Cool Birthday ft. Lawn Fawn

I have a quick and short post for you today: It's about the shaker card I made for the new Lawn Fawn challenge! I used the Here's a Scoop set from Lawn Fawn and colored the images with Copic markers. Next I used the square frame image from Winnie & Walter's Framed set to create my shaker window. I decided to write the punny sentiment with a white gel pen. Then I cut the sentiment strip into three segments for a more appealing visual effect, and that completes the card!

Picture Perfect Birthday ft. SugarPea & The Greeting Farm

Hello and good morning! Today I'm mixing images from different stamp sets again. I decided to pair up this charming guy from The Greeting Farm's My Sunshine set with the phone image from Sugar Pea Design's Hashtag Hipster set. Does it look like someone's taking a photo of him? Perhaps at his birthday party? ;)

  

I colored the image and the background with Copic markers, and the colors I've used are listed below:
Hair: E15, E27, E29 (Light to dark)
Skin: E00, YR00. E04 (shading)
Vest: R37, R39
Background: YR21, YR15  (Top to bottom)

I decided to keep this card rather CAS and finished it with the "Smile" sentiment from Sugar Pea Design's Wanderlust set. What do you think? I rarely make masculine birthday cards but I'm liking this one. I hope you enjoyed it, too!

You Are Tea-rrific! ft. Craftin Desert Divas

Good morning! Here's my second card using this adorable teapot image from Brewing Coffee. I shared a card (shown below) yesterday where I altered the teapot and combined it with lilies from the Lamb in Basket digi. I love how you can create very different projects with digital stamps since you can resize and alter them easily. 

I colored the image with Copics then I used Wink of Stella and a white gel pen to add some finer details. To keep the card CAS, I only used two pieces of washi tape to create the background. I wrote the sentiment with a black pen and that finished off the card. Thanks for stopping by and have a wonderful day!

Coffe Grinder ft. Craftin Desert Divas

Have you checked Craftin Desert Diva's new digi release yet? A bunch of new coffee themed digis have been added to the store. I snatched the Daily Grinder digi up right away and made this CAS card.

I colored the image with Copics and added glossy accents to some of the details. Then I sponged Tea Dye and Vintage Photo distress inks onto a circle die cut and adhered it to the colored image. I wrote the sentiment with a black pen and that finishes off the card!

Let's Sail-ebrate! ft. Craftin Desert Divas

Good morning! Here is my second entry for Cupcake Inspirations Challenge. I was inspired by the beach theme and the colors from Challenge 322's mood board. (Shown below)



I decided to create a small ocean scene and started out by sponging the sunset background. The distress inks I used are Ripe Persimmon, Dried Marigold, Tumbled Glass. 


Then I distressed Salty Ocean onto 3 wavy die cuts and layered them to create the waves. I also spritzed them with pearlized water so they have the shimmery look you see here in the picture. The images I colored today are digital stamps from Craftin Desert Divas. I used Navy Boy and Surf Boy. After adhering all of the pieces together, I wrote the sentiment with a black pen.
