You Are Tea-rrific! ft. Craftin Desert Divas

Good morning! Here's my second card using this adorable teapot image from Brewing Coffee. I shared a card (shown below) yesterday where I altered the teapot and combined it with lilies from the Lamb in Basket digi. I love how you can create very different projects with digital stamps since you can resize and alter them easily.

I colored the image with Copics then I used Wink of Stella and a white gel pen to add some finer details. To keep the card CAS, I only used two pieces of washi tape to create the background. I wrote the sentiment with a black pen and that finished off the card. Thanks for stopping by and have a wonderful day!

Coffe Grinder ft. Craftin Desert Divas

Have you checked Craftin Desert Diva's new digi release yet? A bunch of new coffee themed digis have been added to the store. I snatched the Daily Grinder digi up right away and made this CAS card.

I colored the image with Copics and added glossy accents to some of the details. Then I sponged Tea Dye and Vintage Photo distress inks onto a circle die cut and adhered it to the colored image. I wrote the sentiment with a black pen and that finishes off the card!

Let's Sail-ebrate! ft. Craftin Desert Divas

EDIT: Top 3 at Addicted to CAS

Good morning! Here is my second entry for Cupcake Inspirations Challenge. I was inspired by the beach theme and the colors from Challenge 322's mood board. (Shown below)

I decided to create a small ocean scene and started out by sponging the sunset background. The distress inks I used are Ripe Persimmon, Dried Marigold, Tumbled Glass.

Then I distressed Salty Ocean onto 3 wavy die cuts and layered them to create the waves. I also spritzed them with pearlized water so they have the shimmery look you see here in the picture. The images I colored today are digital stamps from Craftin Desert Divas. I used Navy Boy and Surf Boy. After adhering all of the pieces together, I wrote the sentiment with a black pen. I hope you enjoy this CAS and slightly masculine card. Thanks for stopping by!

Sweet Baker ft. Craftin Desert Divas

EDIT: Top Picks at Cupcake Inspirations

Hello and welcome! I really love this Sweet Baker digital stamp from Craftin Desert Divas so I decided to make a bright and cheerful birthday card using this lovely image. The color scheme and the cake image are inspired by Cupcake Inspirations Challenge mood board. (Shown below)

For the background, I die cut two white panels with the Fancy Frame dies. Then I masked four different areas from left to right and sponged Spun Sugar, Picked Raspberry, Peacock Feathers, Cracked Pistachio distress inks respectively. I also spritzed some pearlized water for some shimmer and used water droplets to create the faded effect.

I colored both of the images with Copic markers. It is my first time trying the flicking technique to color hair and I'm actually quite pleased with the result. I'm still relatively new to these markers and I definitely have a lot more techniques to learn, but I'm slowly getting there. I finished the card by handwriting the sentiment with a black pen and embellishing the card with some sequins, rhinestones and a strip of gold glitter cardstock. I hope you enjoyed this card. Thanks for stopping by and have a sweet day!

Lamb with Flowers ft. Craftin Desert Divas

Hello! I'm sharing my second post for Craftin Desert Divas March Social Media challenge. I was inspired by the bright colors and the flower wreath on the top left hand corner in the mood board.

I colored the Lamb with Flowers, the Butterfly Garden digis and the blue background with ZIG Clean Color Real Brush pens and Copics. Then I fussy cut all of my images. I also used some cotton to create the wool on the lamb. It's a super bright and colorful card, and I hope you enjoyed it. Thanks for stopping by!

CAS Doodle Houses

Today's card is heavily inspired by Addicted to CAS's cue word: Doodle.

I used this doodled houses/windows patterned paper as the main focus.

I colored one of the windows with Copics and also added a coat of wink of stella and glossy accent for some shimmer and shine. Then I adhered a strip of glitter cardstock to the right side of the panel.

Then I stamped and colored this envelope image from Winnie & Walter's So Tweet stamp set. I finished the card front by adding some playful stitched lines with a black gel pen.

To keep the card CAS, I decided to stamp the sentiment inside the card. I think the "sending" word in this sentiment really matches with the flying envelope.

CAS Butterfly Doodle ft. Craftin Desert Divas

EDIT: Top 3 from Addicted to CAS. Top 3 from Pink & Main.

This is a card I made for a kid's card drive using Craftin Desert Diva's Butterfly Garden stamp. The rainbow colors aren't very realistic for a butterfly, but I hope it will brighten up a little kid's day. :)

Easter Bunny ft. Craftin Desert Divas

EDIT: Lucky winner at Krumspring and Top 3 at Creative with Stamps

Good evening! I'd like share with you a card I created for Craftin Desert Diva's March Social Media challenge. I was inspired by the pastel colors and the easter eggs from the mood board. The sketch was inspired by one of Krumspring DT's cards. (Shown below)

The digital stamp I used is called Bunny Painting Easter Egg. In the original file the bunny's painting a rather small egg. I decided to enlarge and print out a larger one for him to color. The ability to resize and manipulate the images is definitely one of the perks of using a digi stamp. So glad I tried it out today. Thanks for stopping by!
