Ombre Backgrounds with White Die Cuts

EDIT: Top 3 at Make My Monday and Die Cut Divas

I love the look of the torn paper edges on this butterfly card so much that I decided to make cleaner versions of it. The sentiment is inspired by CASology's challenge theme: Rough. We all know how diseases can make our days rough! And I think the torn edges add to the same theme as well.

I kept the card pretty simple. Sometimes less IS more. I felt like adding anything else would distract us from the white die cut and would ruin the balance of this card.

Here's another one with pink and coral distress inks and without ink splatters.

As much as I love the full panel ombre inked backgrounds, I feel like the previous two cards didn't have enough white space and I wasn't sure if they are CAS enough. That being said, here's another card featuring one of the toughest subjects to master in life LOL. Love can sometimes get pretty rough. Good beginnings and intentions don't always end up being the same. A lot of times, love is mysterious and unexpected, and hence the color scheme I chose here.

My arm has become quite sore after so much ink blending, but the process is so satisfying at the same time it's slightly addicting. :P Here's my last card with a warm orange-yellow tone. Hope you enjoyed my creations today!
