Sugar Pea #nerd #awesome Cards
I love this iPhone stamp set! The hash tags are cute and relatable LOL. I have these math equations design papers for a long, long time. I think they are quite fun and unique but I've never had a chance to use them on my cards. So glad that I'm using them today. Aren't they perfect with these nerdy glasses?!
After stamping the glasses I traced them with my black gel pen. It adds more shine and dimension and certainly makes a difference!

Paper Smooches Rainbow Tag Inlay
Today's card is for Paper Smooches's May Challenge: Rainbows! I love, love, love rainbow colors, especially when they are super bold ;) So this is what I came up with. The dies are from Paper Smooches's Gift Tag 2 set. You might have recognized it from the Blooming flower card. There are many gift tag dies out there, but I think this one is extra special because the middle sized tag actually cuts out a faux stitched outline for the tag. Neat!
I used some distress inks to create the rainbow colored tags, and added the handwritten sentiment with black and white gel pens. I want to keep the focal point of the card on the intense colors, so I didn't embellish the card much. I think a simple black bow is just enough!

Altered Notebook
Just got my happy mail from Stampin' Up today! This is the This&That journal they released a while ago.
I tried decorating the cover by adding some die cut pieces using the fabulous Coral Couture paper stack. I didn't want to cover the entire background because I like the "organic" look it gives, but I think I left too much open space. It feels like something is missing...I'm having a hard time figuring out what else to add. More layers? Ribbons? Textured background? It's a bit challenging but I think it's a good practice for creating layouts.

Treat Yo Self Die Cut Inlay
These two were inspired by Ellen Hutson's Pin Sights Challenge. Love all the pretty colors! I was trying to go for a soft spring-y look but I think they don't stand out much against that white background. Think I'll redo these two with brighter, more saturated colors and compare how they look.

Treat Yo Self Die Cut Inlay Card
Just recently discovered Ellen Hutson's challenge blog! (literally one day ago LOL)
Look at all these gorgeous colors! Even though there's only one day left till this challenge closes, I managed to quickly pull together a simple, pastel card. Inspired by the colors and the easter eggs in the photos :)

Blooming Flower
This is a spring card I made for Newton's Nook #31 sketch challenge. I don't own any of their stamps yet, so I decided to use one of their free digital stamps. It's pretty cute and fits the spring theme perfectly!
