Gold Ring Wedding Card

I LOVE this month's CASEplorations! Look at that beautiful card Shelly made (shown below). The layout is absolutely gorgeous. Super clever design!


Since I was doing some watercoloring and had my watercolor cardstock out, I went ahead and die cut a circle frame from it. As you can see, watercolor cardstock has a pretty uneven surface, so I ended up heat embossing it twice to give it a smooth finish. (The left side shows the result of heat embossing once, and the right side shows the smooth finish after heat embossing twice.) 


The floral image is Ranunculus from Wplus9. I simply watercolored it with some distress inks.


To finish off the card I stamped my sentiment on a thin strip of vellum and adhered its ends to the back of the watercolored piece. Hope you enjoyed it, have a nice day!
